Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you're looking to tidy up messes quickly and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops I test had superior navigation and mapping. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, well as wires that were tangled.
They're also easy to use using an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and see what they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
If you're looking for the best robot vacuum and mop combo with cutting-edge features take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This model of the highest quality is fast and nimble, picking up debris like pet hair and human hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It has a sleek app interface with a miniature map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.
Another notable feature of the S8 is its ability to adjust its cleaning mode according to dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas to be mopped with a damp pad.
The mop's roller has several other clever features, including a dock that connects to your home's plumbing system to wash and clean it without having to refill the mop. You can even use voice commands to control the built-in voice assistant that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify room cleaning, modes, and granular controls using just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities The Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile choices. It's among the many combination robot vacuums that have mopping features that are also priced lower than the competition.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to begin, which includes setting up an account with the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot is able to begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.
It is important to remember that the mapping process can take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has a good picture of your space. The object detection feature is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but got stuck on a rug with tassels and required a flip to free itself. But these are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube is still a excellent choice for those who need an all-in-one solution for cleaning.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubbers. This results in floors being cleaned, not just being swept. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that allows you to get into places that robot vacuums can't.
This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa and other smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. The smart app lets you modify a variety of settings such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging station at the end of each job to clean their pads and empty the dust bins, and place the debris into a self sealing bag. This helps keep the system tidy and stops allergens from returning to the system. The battery lifespan is long enough to handle large spaces without the need for a recharge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the expensive robot vacuum and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It has an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets, and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also has a unique mopping method that uses a roller constantly sprayed with water to collect dirt and deposit it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation technology performed well and was able to navigate close to walls without falling and staying clear of stairs. However, it did struggle with fine engrained debris and was not always able to remove raised thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also relatively high, so it may be a less reliable set-and-forget model than some.
Like many robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to replenish its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with a regular schedule. You can control all its functions using the Eufy app, which gives an overview of the system and plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best mowers and vacuums that are available. good robot vacuum offers impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent accuracy, and the app allows users to fine-tune coverage of the map, define zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which can be a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system has smart carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they are close to soft surfaces in order to prevent contamination.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance centre which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their dust bins each time they have to be cleaned.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars less than the S8 This robot does a bang-up job of keeping my home office tidy and is able to take on the corners of my tiny apartment. good robot vacuum uses a laser mapping and camera to create a 3D model of your home so that it knows what to avoid. It has an object/obstacle detector that will stay clear of things like dog bowls and toys (but not poop), unlike many vacuums.
It has other great standout features, including an automatic emptying dustbin and a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and set custom settings for every room in your home.
Similar to the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping and can differentiate between carpets, laminate and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. And, if you want to cut down on time, it can even skip mopping in rooms that aren't dirty. It's a great choice when you have a mix of flooring in your home and don't want to spend the extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is an excellent choice to consider if you're looking for a robot that can do both regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a wide range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it's able to move between furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it can't remove tangled rug tassels and its battery drains slightly faster than other models in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that comes with a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming, but overall it did very well. It also offers a range of cleaning modes to meet your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for carpeted rooms. It even has the ability to automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads without causing your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum that can be used even in small areas. It's extremely quiet and speedy, and it does a good job of getting around tight spots. It is also very good at removing pet hair off carpets.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has good suction power and can be set to take pictures of each object it picks (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as 'not found' to ensure that they are not picked up again during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and aren't tied to your account.
It's great for vacuuming, but not so good in mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and then it drags them across your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
